The 35/10 kV transformer substation near the village of Sabyndy will power the planned water treatment plant and its associated utility structures. The design provides for power transformers with a combined capacity of 2×16 MVA with redundancy, ensuring reliable, uninterrupted operation. The substation receives power at 35 kV, steps it down to 10 kV and distributes it to consumers. It uses modern relay protection, automation and dispatch control solutions that deliver a high level of reliability and energy efficiency and comply with current standards.
